Euphrates' Global Advisory Council Welcomes Two New Members!

We’re excited to welcome two new advisors to the Global Advisory Council. This incredible group of advisors are steadfast, supportive, and visionary.

Through the power of storytelling in books, journalism, and film, Mellissa Fung has used her passion, platform, and voice to become an advocate for young women and girls victimized by war and terrorism. Mellissa shares, "I really believe in the vital work Euphrates does around the world. Peacebuilding and amplifying the voices of peacebuilders, is one way to combat the harm being inflicted on innocent people in wars and conflicts that often have nothing to do with them. By guiding us on the path to peace, Euphrates is effectively showing us a better way to live, and ushering in a hopeful new era."

Dr. Whitney McIntyre-Miller is the co-creator of the Peace Leadership Model, the grounding and guiding theory and practice for our Peace Practice Alliance program. Whitney has gifted us with her experience in community and international development, refugee resettlement, nonviolence, and elections monitoring.  She shares, “I am so grateful to be a part of Euphrates Institute’s Global Advisory Council. As a peace leadership scholar and professor, I have greatly enjoyed my collaboration with Euphrates Institute and, in particular, the Peace Practice Alliance, and look forward to continuing to develop peace leadership practitioners in communities around the globe.”

Thank you, Whitney and Mellissa. We’re so grateful for your guidance and love.
